NexGard is a monthly soft chewable that kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment and control of American Dog Tick infestations (Dermacentor variabilis) in dogs.
NexGard kills 3 common types of ticks (the American dog tick, the black-legged ?Deer? tick and the Lone Star tick). So NexGard decreases the risk of a deadly tick-borne disease.
